On January 8, 2004
our Lincoln family was saddened by the news of the loss of Michael DiRaimondo,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Carol DiRaimondo. We have been touched
by his enthusiasm and commitment to his mission as a member of the United
States Army. We admire his courage for aiding his fellow soldiers. We
salute him for the honor that he brings to the DiRaimondo family, his
Lincoln alma mater and the entire community of Simi Valley. In honor
of Michael, the family has established the Michael A. DiRaimondo Foundation.
The purpose of this foundation is to provide financial assistance to
young men and women interested in pursuing a career in the emergency
